Marianne Bokor graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Architecture and started Designed Interiors in 2002. Continuing her interests in how our environment around us shapes our motions and productivity, she undertook further studies with the Australian School of Colour and Design.
She has a strong belief in healthy building environments and the reuse of existing buildings with the minimisation of energy use through considered design. This is further strengthened as she is a member of the Green Building Council of Australia and is an Accredited Green Star Professional.
Her experience in the building industry spans across many different sectors, including retail, commercial, medical, industrial and domestic architecture and interior design.
As Director at bokor architecture+interiors, Marianne ensures that Green Principles are implemented to every project in the office with all designs undergoing an internal audit to ensure that the principles of recycling, reusing, minimisation of harmful emissions and good indoor air quality are applied.
