bokor architecture + interiors were chosen as the architects for the flagship store and roll out of the new store concepts for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia which is seen as a model for future banking. The concept for the design was based around creating an experience for the customers that complimented the existing friendly service that CBA are known for, as well as highlighting the user friendly self-service technology available in the stores. The design focused on the use of new materials, forms and finishes to add to the bank’s sophisticated palette while still maintaining its iconic character.

bokor then went on to value engineer the design and develop the documentation pack that would be used for the CBA standards for all branches moving forward.
