Home Quarter Dandenong, Victoria

bokor architure + interiors designed a large multi-retail complex on a new site to house big name retailers.

The new building design included environmental initiatives for the project that achieved savings of over $1million which included LED carpark lighting, rainwater capture for landscaped areas and the wind turbine returning excess electricity back to the grid, as well as offsetting the centre’s car park lighting costs.

The site is one of the first retail sites in Australia to include a wind turbine tower, known as the Green Power Tower, which provides a highly visible green statement on the corner block.

The centre accommodates 1200m2 of retail space and includes the largest Officeworks store in Victoria.
