bokor architecture + interiors were engaged by NSW Local Land Services to undertake a complete refurbishment of an existing office space in Gosford NSW. The brief was to provide new offices including: open plan workspace, meeting rooms, staff recreation space and a front facing reception for interaction with the general public in line with their NSW office standards. Working closely with the client from concept to completion, we engaged in ongoing feedback with staff and management to provide an engaging and interactive office space. This was achieved with careful consideration in planning the layout within an existing footprint, and selecting colours and finishes to complement the design intent.

A combination of design techniques and material selection were employed to manage acoustics for an all-round comfortable working environment. The project required collaboration with an access consultant and fire engineer to devise creative and successful solutions to obstacles of working within a 1980s office building, while not compromising the design.
